About Industrial Abseiling

Industrial Abseiling Ltd is a family run business which specialises in using abseiling to provide an innovative and effective approach to high level and difficult access work in London and all over the UK.

Industrial Abseiling Ltd have, for many years now, provided highly skilled rope technicians to carry out a wide variety of industrial rope access projects, working in a multitude of industry sectors including Construction, Hospitals, Hotels, Maritime, English Heritage, etc.  As well as being experts at standard tasks we also offer our customers a comprehensive range of signage installations, building inspections, maintenance and repairs in difficult to access areas and sometimes harsh environments, such as confined spaces and high-level access structures.

Abseiling (or absailing as it is often spelt!) is a safe and cost effective alternative to scaffolding or powered access (cherry pickers/ scissor lifts)  - we can often have the work done before the cherry picker arrives or the scaffolding is errected.  We are also much kinder to the environment by reducing the CO2 (carbon footprint) as no large lorries, hauling powered access or scaffolding are needed to complete the difficult access task -  we also now use a low emissions car for site visits.

The true benefits of deciding to abseil a job are realised when the alternative cost to access an area is disproportionate to the amount of work that has to be carried out.

Due to the flexibility in abseil techniques all equipment including ropes are removed at the end of each working day, eliminating potential security risks as well as more general health and safety concerns otherwise related with scaffolding and powered access.

To help show our customers our commitment to high quality work and safety standards we have gained both CHAS and SafeContractors accreditation.  All our abseilers are IRATA trained and certified and hold CSCS cards.
